LandsAid berät sich mit Chef von Partnerorganisation Pakistan Relief

Kaufering In den vergangenen Tagen hatte die Kauferinger Hilfsorganisation LandsAid e.V. Besuch von Mujtaba Haider Imran, Präsident der Hilfsorganisation Pakistan Relief. Das ist eine Partnergorganisation von LandsAid, mit der man beim Nothilfeeinsatz anlässlich der verheerenden Flut in Pakistan im vergangenen Jahr kooperiert hatte. Der Besuch von Imran in Deutschland hatte das Ziel, Projektpartner zu treffen. Nach Stationen in Berlin und Bonn reiste er auch für drei Tage nach Kaufering.

Mujtaba Haider Imran sprach mit LandsAid-Geschäftsführer Dirk Growe und Projektleiterin Birgit Stecher-Hame über neue Projektideen, die LandsAid und Pakistan Relief in Zukunft gemeinsam angehen möchten: Das ist zum einen die medizinische Schulung für die Bevölkerung in Belutschistan. „Ziel dieses Projektes ist es, Multiplikatoren zu schulen, um im Falle einer erneuten Katastrophe vorbeugende Maßnahmen zu ergreifen und so gesundheitliche Schäden so gering wie möglich zu halten. Also ganz konkrete Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe im Krisenfall zu geben,“ sagte LandsAid-Projektleiterin Birgit Stecher-Hame.
